Repairs to Hythe Quay finished just before Christmas 2015. Repairs were made to address a number of issues that had required attention for some years and also included several improvements that make the quay a safer place for the public and barge operators alike.
As well as the entire front of the quay being sheet piled, mooring points, electrical supplies, water outlets, lighting, and a bollard and chain fence were included.
